KHTK Factor # 6: The view of the beingness may be focused on larger or smaller areas.
The most basic impulse is the impulse to evolve. This is carried out at every point of the universe. As parts of the universe start to become more complex, certain areas become bigger focus of evolution than others. This is the genus of attention.
Attention goes to those areas that needs to be evolved at that moment. The view can be narrow or broad. The path of discovery lies in viewing a situation broadly and then narrowing down the attention to those area that do not make sense. Those areas are then viewed more closely and the attention is narrowed down further to things that do not make sense. Upon repetition of this cycle, the discovery is finally made and a step in evolution takes place. Attention then goes to some other situation.
Thus, there is the ability to regulate the view. We may call this ability “attention.”

Scientology
Compare the above to the following factor in Scientology.
Scientology Factor # 6. The action of a dimension point is reaching and withdrawing.
Of course, the dimension points come to be viewed selectively. The Data Series of Hubbard is based on this Factor.

Logic
The universe may be viewed broadly, or parts of the universe may be selected to be inspected more closely. It all depends on the path that the impulse to evolve must take. This is occurring consciously or unconsciously at every level of life at every point in different degrees.
The initial postulates are very broad in considerations. It is not known in advance how the reasoning will proceed and where it will take one.
Evolution is an adventure.
