Reference: A Course on the Factors
KHTK Factor # 5: Space is a dimension that accounts for the extent of substance.
Space is a dimension on which the extents of substance may be plotted. Therefore, space describes the form of the substance. Physics conceives of space without substance, which is a pure abstraction only. In reality, there is no space without substance.
When something is imagined, it has thought substance, which has form. That form exists in the dimension of space.
A viewpoint is how things and their dimensions of space and time are viewed. A viewpoint should be able to recognize things for what they are. If it can’t, then that viewpoint has become impure with assumptions.
A being is the sum total of postulates that form a viewpoint, which, then, views things by their dimensions of space and time.

Scientology
Compare the above to the following factor in Scientology.
Scientology Factor # 5. Thus there is space created, for the definition of space is: viewpoint of dimension. And the purpose of a dimension point is space and a point of view.
The dimension point is made of substance that has a form. That form provides the dimension of space.

Logic
Space does not exist without substance. If there is space then there must also substance. Space that appears empty actually constitutes a field. Interaction with that field appears as force.
Space is one basic dimension of substance. The other basic dimension is Time. Space and time are related to each other through the substance.
Substance is visible because of its form in the dimension of space.
