Reference: The Dianetics Axioms
L. Ron Hubbard found that man is obeying very definite laws and rules which could be set forward in axioms. The very first and most fundamental of these is: The dynamic principle of existence is survive. That is the basic axiom of Dianetics.
The original Dianetic axioms are referenced below in black.
In color are corresponding axioms as seen through Postulate Mechanics (PM).

Executive Summary 2025
As viruses and cells aggregate they evolve into higher life organisms and acquire greater abilities. “Life” is the coordinated motion of complex configurations of substance. The center of such coordination of motion develops into a mind.
The mind confuses present circumstances with past experiences that did not get assimilated. This presents anomalies. The purpose of the mind becomes the resolution of anomalies by assimilating sensations from the past in the present. Failure to do so can lead to the extinction of the life organism.
An organism evolves by overcoming the obstacles opposing its efforts on the various dynamics. It makes effort to control the environment by the support of pro-survival factors present. Such pro-survival factors include the ecosystems formed by life organisms.

Axioms 46-60
DN AXIOM 46: Colonial aggregations of viruses and cells can be imbued with more THETA than they inherently contained.
Life energy joins any group, whether a group of organisms or group of cells composing an organism. Here we have personal entity, individuation, etc.
The inherent motion of substance evolves from simple, mechanical motion within minerals to complex, self-animated motion within viruses and cells. This complex, self-animated motion imparts separate and individual life to the organisms.
PM AXIOM 46: Colonial aggregations of viruses and cells acquire more complex self-animation.
.
DN AXIOM 47: Effort can be accomplished by LAMBDA only through the coordination of its parts toward goals.
PM AXIOM 47: Living organisms coordinate their parts towards the accomplishment of greater goals.
.
DN AXIOM 48: An organism is equipped to be governed and controlled by a mind.
PM AXIOM 48: An organism evolves a mind to govern and control its activities.
.
DN AXIOM 49: The purpose of the mind is to pose and resolve problems relating to survival and to direct the effort of the organism according to these solutions.
PM AXIOM 49: The purpose of the mind is to direct the effort of the organism to resolve anomalies in order to evolve.
.
DN AXIOM 50: All problems are posed and resolved through estimations of effort.
PM AXIOM 50: All problems breakdown into anomalies and resolved through closer looking.
.
DN AXIOM 51: The mind can confuse position in space with position in time. (Counter-efforts producing action phrases.)
PM AXIOM 51: The mind can confuse present circumstances with past unassimilated experiences.
.
DN AXIOM 52: An organism proceeding toward survival is directed by the mind of that organism in the accomplishment of survival effort.
PM AXIOM 52: An organism that is evolving is directed by its mind to do so.
.
DN AXIOM 53: An organism proceeding toward succumb is directed by the mind of that organism in the accomplishment of death.
PM AXIOM 53: An organism proceeding toward extinction is directed by the mind to do so.
.
DN AXIOM 54: Survival of an organism is accomplished by the overcoming of efforts opposing its survival.
(Note: Corollary for other dynamics.)
PM AXIOM 54: An organism evolves by overcoming the obstacles opposing its efforts on the dynamics.
.
DN AXIOM 55: Survival effort for an organism includes the dynamic thrust by that organism for the survival of itself, its procreation, its group, its subspecies, its species, all life organisms, material universe, the life static and, possibly, a Supreme Being.
(Note: List of dynamics.)
The life static is the static viewpoint or detached awareness; whereas the Supreme Being is the ultimate goal of Oneness. Rest of the dynamics provide different dimensions of evolution.
PM AXIOM 55: An organism evolves by putting out efforts on its various dynamics.
.
DN AXIOM 56: The cycle of an organism, a group of organisms or a species is inception, growth, re-creation, decay and death.
PM AXIOM 56: All dynamics go through the cycle of inception, growth, re-creation, decay and death.
.
DN AXIOM 57: The effort of an organism is directed toward the control of the environment for all the dynamics.
PM AXIOM 57: The organism makes effort to control the environment for all the dynamics.
.
DN AXIOM 58: Control of an environment is accomplished by the support of pro-survival factors along any dynamic.
PM AXIOM 58: Control of an environment is accomplished by the support of pro-survival factors along any dynamic.
.
DN AXIOM 59: Any type of higher organism is accomplished by the evolution of viruses and cells into forms capable of better efforts to control or live in an environment.
PM AXIOM 59: Higher organisms evolve from viruses and cells as forms capable of better efforts to control or live in an environment.
.
DN AXIOM 60: The usefulness of an organism is determined by its ability to control the environment or to support organisms which control the environment.
PM AXIOM 60: The usefulness of an organism is determined by its ability to control the environment or to support organisms which control the environment.
