Mental Distress and KHTK

For improvement to occur a person needs the ability to be mindful, which means that he should be able to see things as they are. It is only when a person is being mindful that he is able to spot and resolve inconsistencies to handle his unwanted condition.

When a person is mentally distressed or ill, his ability to be mindful is compromised. However, such a person may be guided toward mindfulness. This is done by asking him about only those things that he is able to recognize.

In the beginning, you can help a mentally distressed person by minimizing distractions in his environment. If he is sick physically then take care of that sickness first as best as you can. Make sure that he is on a nutritious diet and that his environment is being kept calm and peaceful.

Once he is comfortable and in a calm environment then get him to recognize simple things. Start with items that he was familiar with in his childhood, such as, his favorite toys. Take him to his favorite locations and have him recognize the objects there.

Keep in mind that it is much easier to recognize concrete objects than subjective thoughts and ideas. Do not ask any subjective questions that require him to recall memories. Recall of memories requires visualization and this may be too much for him.

Get him to recognize large, simple physical objects first by looking, touching and feeling them. Then give him smaller and more complex objects. He should be encouraged to use all his perceptions.

After the person can recognize concrete objects comfortably, only then ask him to recognize simple characteristics of those things, such as, number, shape and color. Make sure that numbers are small, shapes are simple, and the colors are bright. Keep any interaction with him in terms of characteristics that are quite obvious.

Next, get the person to visualize and draw simple objects, such as, ball, table, chair, etc. Never exceed his capability to visualize. If ideas get too complex for him to visualize, then make them simpler until he can visualize them comfortably.

Gradually, get him to visualize subjective and complex ideas and describe them. Build up his ability to be mindful slowly and carefully. This itself will prove to be a wonderful therapy.

Then, when he is up to doing the KHTK exercises, get him started on them.

    Scientology claims:

Running out the pc’s past life incidents, astounding as it may seem, is an easy matter for the auditor to handle. All he has to do is go earlier and earlier with the pc, and eventually the basic incident (e.g. getting hanged) will become available to be run. The pc can recall anything on the timetrack, no matter how deep down, as long as there is charge on the incident. Once the charge is removed he can recall the incident again (out of session) whenever he is interested to do so.

    .

But it assumes that the person is perfectly capable of recognizing things for what they are.

This is a big assumption. It underlies most of the failures of Scientology.

By the way, I wrote this essay while vacationing in New Zealand. It has been a wonderful vacation that has cleared up my mind considerably. New Zealand is so green, vibrant and beautiful. It is the perfect place for Hobbits to live.

Today I am in Christchurch. We are preparing to fly back to Auckland, and from there to USA.

Vin Hello, how are you finding it? I have seen in other blogs, propose KHTK. No. Remember the lesson PDC carriers antonyms? You are reaching out, and you a retreat! There can be no solution to the PC in such a way that you are. Do you understand? If the solutions, you take away the mystery, the game. By checkmate! End of the games. Use the mystery, if Thy tech worth. I am not led towards mathematics, I prefer to look directly at life. I’ll be glad if you can use it. Nic ARC infinity

Vin: “But it assumes that the person is perfectly capable of recognizing things for what they are.”
Mark: This can come with practice, reduced overall charge, higher tone, and understanding and experience working with mindfulness.
It is also a gradient which can be recognized and followed. Knowing ones own indicators is vital and comes with experience.

Reduction of charge follows mindfulness. It is not the other way around.

As with many many other things, it goes both ways. Confront increases one’s ability to resolve ones case, resolving more of one’s case increases ones confront. Higher tone helps to solve undesirable problems, solving one’s probs. well, you get the idea. This should be obvious.

PS: I do understand well that it is not exactly 1 for 1. Some things are a little more important, some a lot more important, some moderately less important. Different aspects change value as one goes along. It’s all individual and variable. “The ability to assign relative importances” AND (Hubbard forgot to mention) change those values as data and conditions change.

Handle the body problems. Get them in a safe, sane environment with good nutrition. Objectives on a proper gradient.
Your essay clarifies and adds additional detail to existing tech, making it do-able,

“Unconsciousness” = Lack of processing of data = too rapid an inflow

There is no unconsciousness. There are simply too rapid an inflow, which made the processing of data difficult. The unprocessed input gets hung up as an inconsistency. It may also cause damage to tissue and pain.

When one looks at this area at a slow pace, he may then be able to catch up with the backlogged processing and may even repair some tissue and relieve the pain.
