The Premise of KHTK

Reference: What is KHTK?

The premise underlying KHTK is that the reality of this universe is consistent and coherent.

Any inconsistency would come from one’s assumptions.

As one tracks down the inconsistencies and removes one’s assumptions, the reality becomes more consistent, coherent and clear.

It does not matter what viewpoint one approaches with, the personal viewpoint shall gradually disappear as inconsistencies and assumptions are removed.

What will remain shall be the actual reality in all its glory.

    haha Well said! Although that glory would be an inconsistency! Nothing wrong with a little color though! You have taken a while working out these synopses but they are well worth the wait. I like how short this one is and the premise of reality being consistent has merit.

    Glory is a reference to all that may be there. It is more like a tautology.

      I also think of it as glorious. I enjoy experiencing the abstractions of being human. underpinning that statement is my assumption that we are meant to.

    I am starting a new conversation with an old friend.

    I am excitedly looking forward to where it may take us, as I am not starting out with any assumptions. I am starting with a clean slate that has nothing permanent written on it. I may allow things to be written on it, but only with erasable ink, so they can be modified as need be to ensure consistency.

    At this point, I am not even sure that physical and spiritual characteristics of existence are opposed to each other. They appear to be aspects of the same life. Physical and spiritual may even be represented on the same scale, one being a relative form of the other like the electric and magnetic fields of radiation. I cannot see these physical and spiritual aspects being absolute in themselves and independent of each other. These two aspects influence each other, and are influenced by each other.

    Hopefully we shall be able to exchange our experiences and thoughts in such a way that it benefits the other.

    My goal has always been to understand the whole existence and life in it. That has taken me through the route of both physics and metaphysics. I believe that the reality of this universe is consistent and coherent. Any inconsistency would come only from assumptions. As inconsistencies are tracked down and assumptions are removed, the reality becomes more consistent, coherent and clear.

    A scientist does not have a personal viewpoint. He is simply trying to sort out what is out there by discovering laws and creating models that explain the observations. That is where I am. My viewpoint or opinions do not matter. What matters are the observations that can be made by anybody.

    So, what is this reality that we are setting out to examine? What is the basis of this reality? Can we express it in objective terms?
