Processing is the application of a procedure to bring about an improvement in a person’s condition. In Subject Clearing, the processes have been obtained from the study of Vedic Hinduism, Buddhism, Psychoanalysis and Scientology.

In Subject Clearing, you can always go back to a previously applied process and run it again.

.

Process

The is the most general process that helps one look more closely at any subject, problem, difficulty, fixation or anomaly.

The subject could be the body, or a painful part of the body, or some sickness. The problem may have to do with some relationship. The difficulty could involve some aspect of life. There may be a fixation that you want to resolve. Or, there is some something that simply does not make sense, and appears to be an anomaly.

Your first action is to use the first few step of this process to express that subject, problem, difficulty, fixation or anomaly in words so that it can be examined as part of an auditing question. You can then follow the subsequent steps to run that auditing question repetitively.

This process is a work horse that you can apply to anything. Make very sure that you understand each step of this process before you apply it.

Subject Clearing Discipline (old)

Please see The Discipline of Subject Clearing

Processing is the application of a procedure to bring about an improvement in a person’s condition. In Subject Clearing, the processes have been obtained from the study of Vedic Hinduism, Buddhism, Psychoanalysis and Scientology.

In Subject Clearing, you can always go back to a previously applied process and run it again.

.

Process

In Subject Clearing a certain discipline is necessary to see things as they are. Whether you are recalling something, or perceiving in present time, it must be accurate, with minimum distortion, for you to come to correct conclusion. This discipline is provided in the following document. Study it carefully.

The 12 Aspects of Mindfulness.

Here are the exercises to help you practice these 12 aspects of mindfulness. As you apply this discipline regularly to situations in your life, you will get better over time.

  1. Observe without Desires
  2. Observe without Assuming
  3. Observe what is Missing
  4. Observe the Incomprehensible
  5. Observe all Senses
  6. Let the Mind Un-stack
  7. Experience Fully
  8. Do not suppress
  9. Associate Data freely
  10. Observe beyond Name and Form
  11. Contemplate thoughtfully
  12. Let it be effortless

These 12 aspects of mindfulness are essential to running all the subsequent processes of Subject Clearing.

.

Commands

In Subject Clearing, one looks at a subject or parts of it. One is either observing the subject directly, or studying about the subject through observations made by somebody else. In the latter case one is using some means of communication, such as, a language.

In looking, one follows the Discipline of Subject Clearing.

The basic commands is as follows:

”This is interesting, but is there some anomaly here?”

An anomaly is any violation of the principle of oneness, such as, discontinuity (missing data), inconsistency (contradictory data), or disharmony (arbitrary data).

One may sense the anomaly in the form of a confusion (lack of clarity) or some tension. So, one my ask oneself:

“Is there some confusion or a lack of clarity here?”
“Is there some tension that I feel in relation to this item?”

You may word this command in many different ways. Your aim is to remove confusion, restore clarity and resolve any tension. You goal is to have no anomalies.

It is straightforward when you are observing the subject directly. But when you are using a language to “observe” the subject indirectly, you are required to visualize the subject correctly. In this case you must have a good grasp of that language.

Subject Clearing Recall (old)

Please see Memory Recall

Processing is the application of a procedure to bring about an improvement in a person’s condition. In Subject Clearing, the processes have been obtained from the study of Vedic Hinduism, Buddhism, Psychoanalysis and Scientology.

In Subject Clearing, you can always go back to a previously applied process and run it again.

.

Process

Another fundamental process in Subject Clearing is to understand how to recall one’s experience. Best recall occurs when you are totally relaxed, and you let your experience manifest itself. When you do so, the recall usually manifests itself immediately. This happens routinely when you are contemplating on something.

You may ask yourself right now for a time when you were happy. Now relax and make no effort. You will find that a moment when you were happy will manifest itself in your mind. It is an effortless process.

It is possible that a specific recall may not manifest. For example, if you want to recall what you ate for breakfast a week ago, a clear picture may not emerge. This is because the activity of eating breakfast has become so routine that it is assimilated with the background. You may simply get a general idea of what you might have eaten.

But a recall can also be suppressed, especially when it contains pain. For example, You may find it difficult to recall the details of an accident in which you were injured. However, as you go over that period of accident again and again in your mind, you may find the details emerging into focus.

It is also possible, that some recall is simply not there. In that case, you simply recognize that it is not there, and move on. If the recall is completely suppressed with no awareness at all, it may come up after some other experiences have been recalled. So, if the recall does not seem to be there, it is best to move on for now.

Sometimes, a vague impression may come up in recall. You may try to visualize, or imagine, more details, but it won’t be the exact experience. So, you recognize the difference and move on. The actual experience may resurface sooner or later.

The following exercise is designed to help you experience all of the above.

Subject Clearing Viewpoint & Reality

Please see Postulate Mechanics.

Process

This Subject Clearing process explores the subject of reality.

PREREQUISITE: Subject Clearing Mind

Look up these words in this sequence per the definitions given below.

VIEWPOINT, REALITY, IS-NESS, ALTER-IS-NESS, AS-IS-NESS, NOT-IS-NESS, REALITY SCALE, GRANTING OF BEINGNESS.

As you look up a definition, ask yourself,

“What crosses my mind as I look up this definition?”

Notice the internal reaction. Apply The 12 Aspects of Mindfulness to that reaction. If there is a disagreement, or you sense some anomaly, then address it with Subject Clearing Viewpoint.

You may consult dictionaries, Wikipedia, Textbooks, etc., to sort out the disagreement or anomaly present. Contemplate on these words until you are fully satisfied with your understanding.

Definitions

VIEWPOINT
The viewpoint is the frame of reference a person uses to view things. It is based on the degree of assimilation of the person’s mental matrix. It determines his reality, which includes the sense of his own position, or location, and what he thinks of himself. The viewpoint can become fixed, but a person can always unfix and change it.

.

REALITY
A person’s reality is based on his viewpoint. It may be defined as his sense of “is-ness” of things. This reality may be plotted on a Reality scale. As one moves down this scale the reality becomes cloudier because of alter-is-ness. As one moves up this scale the reality becomes clearer because of as-is-ness. The reality is optimum when it is continuous, consistent and harmonious.

.

IS-NESS
Is-ness is the way things appear to a person based on his viewpoint. It determines his position on the Reality scale.

.

ALTER-IS-NESS
When someone sees something differently from what it is, he is doing an alter-is.  Alter-is-ness adds layers of alterations, illusion, deception, etc., which makes the reality cloudier. The person’s position on the reality scale moves lower with alter-is.

.

AS-IS-NESS
When someone sees something as it is, through the layers of obfuscation, he is doing an as-is. As-is-ness removes the layers of alterations, illusion, deception, etc. The person’s position on the reality scale moves higher with as-is.

.

NOT-IS-NESS
NOT-IS-NESS is an outright, flat denial of the way things are.

.

REALITY SCALE
At its lowest point, a person’s would be unconscious and would have no reality. As he gains consciousness, his reality moves up through the following levels:

(1) MYSTERY: At this level a person is in a terrific confusion about everything. The whole realty has become mysterious to him. He is trying to shut out all reality. He finds himself waiting for things to happen.

(2) SEXINGNESS: At this level, a person thinks that he is not going to survive; so, he starts looking at living through another generation. His reality shrinks to a raw survival mode with attention fixed on sex.

(3) EATINGNESS: At this level a person has no appreciation of other people and things. They are simply looked upon as means for survival. This is the reality of the dog eat dog world.

(4) SYMBOLIZINGNESS; At this level a person figures with symbols. The symbols consist of mass and significance. He interprets them literally. His sense of reality is very shallow.

(5) THINKINGNESS; In thinkingness, a person is trying to figure things out all the time. He cannot work or act, so there is no progress. This is the “figure-figure” case. He is hard to get along with.

(6) EFFORTINGNESS: In effortingness, a person has got to touch everything and feel everything before he can know anything. He’ll get a mental image picture of a past incident in order to get an idea of what is happening to him in the present.

(7) EMOTINGNESS: In emotingness, a person determines the reality by his emotional reaction to things. Do we like it—do we dislike it? The person has all kinds of emotions about things.

(8) LOOKINGNESS: In lookingness a person is confronted with discontinuities, inconsistencies and disharmonies. He must look at these anomalies more closely to discover the reality.

(9) KNOWINGNESS: In knowingness, one sees the reality to be continuous, consistent and harmonious as per the Principle of Oneness.

.

GRANTING OF BEINGNESS
Granting of beingness is to let the person manage his own reality. If the person is willing you may help him explore and improve his reality.

Anything manifested is being. The beingness is given meaning by the human awareness. The beingness can be very simple, or it can be very complex.

The Beingness

.

Awareness is the ultimate in perception. It is the perception being supported and enhanced in depth by assimilated experience. The better is the assimilation of the experience, the higher is the awareness.

The Awareness

.

When we identity our beingness with our awareness, then our beingness is the awareness of the whole universe. It is the awareness of the meaning we give to every beingnesses in this universe. Evolution is the concatenation of these beingnesses in our awareness.

The Evolution

.

The self of a person is essentially the scope and quality of his awareness. It can be as broad as the awareness of the whole universe, or as narrow as the perception of mere bodies.

The Self

.

The spirit consists of the laws of nature that underlie our self. It starts with the law of oneness, which permeates through our awareness of the universe.

The Spirit

.

The identity depends on how a beingness is perceived. Different identities exist when the beingness is not being perceived in its totality.

The Identity

.

Observer is an assigned identity, like soul, to a spiritual phenomenon. When something is manifested, it means that it can be observed. The property of being observed exists in the fact of manifestation.

The Observer

.

Attention helps us become aware of things. It is a natural attraction toward anomalies, which, when resolved, lead to better awareness.

The Attention

.

The free will is the ability to postulate sensibly. It is expressed as self-determinism.

The Free Will

.

In death, the beingness ceases to be itself. It no longer functions as it is supposed to.

The Death

.

Some religions suppose that there is a soul that survives death permanently.

The Soul

.

The ultimate evolution of self is attaining the state of Nirvana and maintaining it.

The Nirvana

.

Here is an excellent 30 minute meditation session that may help you experience your SELF.
