Reference: The Dianetics Axioms
L. Ron Hubbard found that man is obeying very definite laws and rules which could be set forward in axioms. The very first and most fundamental of these is: The dynamic principle of existence is survive. That is the basic axiom of Dianetics.
The original Dianetic axioms are referenced below in black.
In color are corresponding axioms as seen through Postulate Mechanics (PM).

Executive Summary 2025
The effort of life organisms at any moment is to spot and resolve anomalies. While rightness is made up of efforts that lead towards oneness, wrongness is associated with efforts that generate more anomalies than they resolve. An organism engaged in evolutionary efforts feels joy; but it feels pain when it is thwarted in its evolution, or when it engages in non-survival activity.
The ultimate goal of life organisms is to continue to evolve. Death is a normal aspect of continuing evolution. An organism’s efforts are highly complex and reasoned, and assisted or opposed by other organisms and environment. But, upon death, only simpler motion persists in the lower level configurations that remain.
The cell and virus are the primary building blocks of life organisms. They aggregate into colonies to increase potential motion and accomplish effort. The goal of viruses and cells is to evolve into higher level organisms.

Axioms 31-45
THETA = Life Static
PHI or MEST = The Physical Universe
LAMBDA = Living organism or organisms
DN AXIOM 31: Wrongness is always miscalculation of effort.
DN AXIOM 32: THETA can exert itself directly or extensionally.
THETA can direct physical application of the organism to the environment or, through the mind, can first calculate the action or extend, as in language, ideas.
DN AXIOM 33: Conclusions are directed toward the inhibition, maintenance or accelerations of efforts.
DN AXIOM 34: The common denominator of all life organisms is motion.
DN AXIOM 35: Effort of an organism to survive or succumb is physical motion of a life organism at a given moment in time through space.
DEFINITION: Motion is any change in orientation in space.DEFINITION: Force is random effort.DEFINITION: Effort is directed force.
.
PM AXIOM 31: Wrongness is always introduction of an anomaly.
PM AXIOM 32: The life organism can exert itself directly, or indirectly through other organisms.
PM AXIOM 33: Conclusions are directed toward resolving an anomaly.
PM AXIOM 34: The common denominator of all life organisms is motion.
PM AXIOM 35: Effort of a life organism to resolve an anomaly is its physical motion at a given moment in time through space.
.
DN AXIOM 36: An organism’s effort can be to remain at rest or persist in a given motion.
Static state has position in time, but an organism which is remaining positionally in a static state, if alive, is still continuing a highly complex pattern of motion, such as the heartbeat, digestion, etc. The efforts of organisms to survive or succumb are assisted, compelled or opposed by the efforts of other organisms, matter, energy, space and time.DEFINITION: Attention is a motion which must remain at an optimum effort. Attention is aberrated by becoming unfixed and sweeping at random or becoming too fixed without sweeping. Unknown threats to survival when sensed cause attention to sweep without fixing. Known threats to survival when sensed cause attention to fix.
DN AXIOM 37: The ultimate goal of LAMBDA is infinite survival.
DN AXIOM 38: Death is abandonment by THETA of a life organism or race or species where these can no longer serve THETA in its goals of infinite survival.
DN AXIOM 39: The reward of an organism engaging upon survival activity is pleasure.
DN AXIOM 40: The penalty of an organism failing to engage upon survival activity, or engaging in non-survival activity, is pain.
.
PM AXIOM 36: A life organism may either wait or act at any given moment in resolving an anomaly.
A life organism is part of a bigger organism, such as, the species. Therefore, the context in which it is operating is relevant. Its attention is also a part of its motion and it must maintain harmony with the environment.
PM AXIOM 37: The ultimate goal of a living organism is to seek and maintain oneness of reality as much as possible.
PM AXIOM 38: Death is a natural stage of a life organism, race or species in the cycle of evolution.
PM AXIOM 39: An organism gets pleasure out of resolving anomalies.
PM AXIOM 40: An organism feels pain when it fails to resolve an anomaly.
.
DN AXIOM 41: The cell and virus are the primary building blocks of life organisms.
DN AXIOM 42: The virus and cell are matter and energy animated and motivated in space and time by THETA.
DN AXIOM 43: THETA mobilizes the virus and cell in colonial aggregations to increase potential motion and accomplish effort.
DN AXIOM 44: The goal of viruses and cells is survival in space through time.
DN AXIOM 45: The total mission of higher organisms, viruses and cells is the same as that of the virus and cell.
.
PM AXIOM 41: The cell and virus are the primary building blocks of life organisms.
PM AXIOM 42: The virus and cell are animated and motivated by the complex motion inherent to their configuration.
PM AXIOM 43: The virus and cell aggregate into colonies to increase potential motion and accomplish effort.
PM AXIOM 44: The goal of viruses and cells is to evolve into higher organisms that can resolve more anomalies.
PM AXIOM 45: The mission of organisms at any level of is to acquire greater ability to resolve anomalies.
