Reference: The Dianetics Axioms
L. Ron Hubbard found that man is obeying very definite laws and rules which could be set forward in axioms. The very first and most fundamental of these is: The dynamic principle of existence is survive. That is the basic axiom of Dianetics.
The original Dianetic axioms are referenced below in black.
In color are corresponding axioms as seen through Postulate Mechanics.

Executive Summary
The understanding of the universe arises from the assimilation of sensations. Underlying this universe is a spectrum of substance that has inherent motion and inertia. The substance has the characteristics of space and time.
Substance of different kinds combines to generate life organisms of increasingly complex forms and motion. The life organisms are engaged in assimilating sensations to understand the universe. Thus come about the laws of nature.
The form and activity of life organisms, which follow the laws of nature, accelerates the assimilation and understanding of the universe. There is an overall harmony and a sense of oneness to this understanding.

Axioms 1-15
DN = Dianetics
PM = Postulate Mechanics
THETA = Life Static
PHI or MEST = The Physical Universe
LAMBDA = Living organism or organisms
DN AXIOM 1: The source of life is a static of peculiar and particular properties.
DN AXIOM 2: At least a portion of the static called life is impinged upon the physical universe.
DN AXIOM 3: That portion of the static of life which is impinged upon the physical universe has for its dynamic goal, survival and only survival.
DN AXIOM 4: The physical universe is reducible to motion of energy operating in space through time.
DN AXIOM 5: That portion of the static of life concerned with the life organisms of the physical universe is concerned wholly with motion.
.
PM AXIOM 1: The basis of life is oneness (harmony of motion).
PM AXIOM 2: Life seeks harmony of the entire universe.
PM AXIOM 3: The goal of life is to establish oneness (harmony, consistency and continuity) of the universe.
PM AXIOM 4: The universe is substantial, and life is an extension of it. The substance of the universe is reducible to matter, energy and thought.
PM AXIOM 5: The substance of the universe has the characteristics of space, time, inertia, motion and gravity.
.
DN AXIOM 6: The life static has as one of its properties the ability to mobilize and animate matter into living organisms.
DN AXIOM 7: The life static is engaged in a conquest of the physical universe.
DN AXIOM 8: The life static conquers the material universe by learning and applying the physical laws of the physical universe.
SYMBOL: The symbol for the LIFE STATIC in use hereafter is the Greek letter THETA.
DN AXIOM 9: A fundamental operation of THETA in surviving is bringing order into the chaos of the physical universe.
DN AXIOM 10: THETA brings order into chaos by conquering whatever in MEST may be pro-survival and destroying whatever in MEST may be contra-survival, at least through the medium of life organisms.
SYMBOL: The symbol for the PHYSICAL UNIVERSE in use hereafter is MEST, from the first letters of the words MATTER, ENERGY, SPACE and TIME, or the Greek letter PHI.
.
PM AXIOM 6: Assimilation of the universe towards oneness leads to the generation of life organisms.
PM AXIOM 7: The life organisms greatly accelerate the assimilation of the universe toward oneness.
PM AXIOM 8: Assimilation of the universe is expressed through the laws of nature.
PM AXIOM 9: The assimilation brings order to the chaos of the universe.
PM AXIOM 10: The life organisms operate according to the laws of nature to bring order into chaos.
.
DN AXIOM 11: A life organism is composed of matter and energy in space and time, animated by THETA.
SYMBOL: Living organism or organisms will hereafter be represented by the Greek letter LAMBDA.
DN AXIOM 12: The MEST part of the organism follows the laws of the physical sciences. All LAMBDA is concerned with motion.
DN AXIOM 13: THETA operating through LAMBDA converts the forces of the physical universe into forces to conquer the physical universe.
DN AXIOM 14: THETA working upon physical universe motion must maintain a harmonious rate of motion.
The limits of LAMBDA are narrow, both as to thermal and mechanical motion.
DN AXIOM 15: LAMBDA is the intermediate step in the conquest of the physical universe.
.
PM AXIOM 11: A life organism represents complex dynamic equilibrium between motion and inertia.
PM AXIOM 12: A life organism follows the physical and metaphysical laws of nature.
PM AXIOM 13: The activity of life organism accelerates the assimilation of motion.
PM AXIOM 14: The principle of Oneness (harmony, consistency and continuity) drives all nature.
PM AXIOM 15: The life organism is an intermediate step in the understanding of the universe.
.
NOTES:
- DN is anchored on the postulate of CAUSE-EFFECT. PM is anchored on the postulate of ONENESS.
- DN starts with the postulate of a static (no motion). PM starts with the postulate of oneness (harmony of motion).
- DN sees life to be in contest between spiritual and physical. PM sees life as an extension of the universe that is seeking harmony.
