Project: A Course on Hubbard’s Factors

This paper presents Factor # 15 from the book SCIENTOLOGY 8-8008 by L. RON HUBBARD. The contents are from the original publication of this book by The Church of Scientology (1952).

The paragraphs of the original material (in black) are accompanied by brief comments (in color) based on the present understanding.  Feedback on these comments is appreciated.

FACTOR # 15. The dimension point can be different from other dimension points and thus can possess an individual quality. And many dimension points can possess a similar quality, and others can possess a similar quality unto themselves. Thus comes about the quality of classes of matter.

This factor may be stated more simply as follows. The dimension points may be arranged in broad classes such as physical and metaphysical. They may be arranged further into sub-classes such as continuum and discrete, and still further into more sub-classes. If fact, every dichotomy provides two opposite classes, and a gradient of classes between them, and these dichotomies are also connected on a gradient.

In fact, there is an underlying continuity, harmony and consistency among all dimension points, and the dimension points may be indexed with each other forming an infinite matrix .

KHTK FACTOR # 15: All dimension points are unique in themselves, but there are similarities enough to arrange them into classes. At a finer level there is underlying continuity, harmony and consistency enough to arrange them into a finely connected matrix.

FINAL COMMENTS

The universe may be seen as a fine matrix of infinite dimensions. Similarly, the mind may also be seen as such a matrix. In fact, a mind may be seen as a matrix embedded into the universal matrix.
