Mindful Subject Clearing (old)

MW4

Please see Course on Subject Clearing

Reference: What is KHTK?

The Mindful Subject Clearing (MSC) consists of:

Word Clearing
Subject Clearing

The prerequisite for applying MSC are:

Technique of Mindfulness

The tools required are

A good Dictionary
A good encyclopedia (or, access to them on Internet)
Google Search

An example of a process based on this mindfulness approach is the following,

The Intention to Harm

This approach may be done solo, or with the help of a Mindfulness guide. I shall be tweaking this approach further and reporting on it on this thread.

A person may use an Excel worksheet to make the word list. He can make a column called “Priority” and number this column. Using this priority numbering he can sort to rearrange the word list, as requied in the document “LOOKING AT KNOWLEDGE.”

He may also note down pertinent points of definitions in another column next to the words.

I am currently using the above to review my knowledge of CALCULUS. I realized that Calculus is a mathematical study of change.

I have tabs on my Excel worksheet for subjects like

    Philiosophy
    Psychology
    Logic
    Mathematics
    Politics

I am now using this process to clear up the words in Scientology L-10 assessment lists. The first outcome was the following document.

I have finally been able to document exactly what I was doing in the early seventies on the Flagship Apollo of Scientology when Hubbard was issuing the technology of Word clearing and the policy of Data evaluation on the ship.

    This is it. 🙂

I just cleared up the reason why a unique logarithm of negative numbers does not exist. The log of -1 on a base of -1 would be all odd numbers.

I learned to use logarithms as a tool but never understood the basic underlying principals. Maybe the time has come to take another look.

Just like subtraction is opposite of addition, and division is the opposite of multiplication…

Logarithm is the opposite of exponentiation. For example. 10 to the power of 3 is 1000. Therefore, log of 1000 on base 10 is 3.

All odd powers of -1 are -1. Therefore, log of -1 on base -1 would be all odd numbers.

I only touched on Logarithms in my studies. We used the charts of tenth roots as a shortcut to multiplication. Got my interest up. Got a little work to do tonight after I get that garage door opener installed.

Applying Subject Clearing to the subject of Spirit, soul, thetan etc. I am starting out with comments on the various definitions of THETAN as follows:

    > the awareness of awareness unit
Awareness comes from relative motion. Each instance of relative motion may be regarded as a “vector” of awareness. A thetan may then be regarded as the “resultant” of a set of awareness vectors clustered at a location in theta dimension.

    > the living unit
    Life essentially consists of motion

    > the source of life and life itself
Motion is manifested, which is represented by Thetan. This motion feeds upon itself. So the source of motion may said to be motion iteself.

Let’s see where it takes us.

My Tab on this worksheet says PHILOSOPHY. ‘Thetan’ is a sub-topic of philosophy, which I have filtered here. The column A is titled ‘Priority’. I can use this column to rearrange the sequence of words per TRAINING: Looking at Knowledge.

I take the primary points of definitions as above and look at them mindfully. Then I write my comment under that point of definition.

      It is an exciting journey.

You could upload a copy to Dropbox or similar cloud storage share the link and and then invite others to write there thoughts on the grid. Maybe interesting things would happen if we brainstormed together like that. Or we might just work on a copy alone, then compare notes. ?

I like the latter notion better with each person applying the Subject Clearing method on their own (using Excel), and then comparing notes on this blog.

Here is more on THETAN and SPIRIT from Hubbard:

    > has all potentialities but no mass, no wave-length and no location
Potentiality would be a theta dimension in which thetan would have discrete substance and location

    > the being who is the individual… the identity which is the individual
Here thetan is being equated the idea one has about oneself

    > who handles and lives in the body
Thetan is simply the living aspect of the body looked at broadly

    > The thetan is immortal
The vectors that are summed up as thetan are always there, though they are changing all the time

    > Can consider and postulate mass, wave-length, energy, time, and location in space
The considerations and postulates are already there. They, on the whole simply appear as the spirit

    > The spirit is not a thing. It is the creator of things
If there is a creator, it is unknowable. Spirit is simply the broad view of what is there.

    > The thetan is possessed of capabilities well in excess of those hitherto predicted for man.
There is more to realize as inconsistencies get leveled.

    > the knowingness of the human being
The thetan is an aspect of the human being and not something separate

    > energy space production unit
It appears to be so, but in actuality it is the resultant vector of what is happening at any moment.

    > you before you mocked yourself up
It is the state of no inconsistencies

    > a static that can consider, and can produce space and energy and objects
The source of considerations is unknowable. Thetan is the resultant of a set of considerations

The following are the ideas connected with SPIRIT from Wikipedia

    > The English word spirit comes from Latin spiritus “breath”
“Breath” represents the aliveness of the body, so spirit is the aliveness of the body.

    > a non-corporeal substance contrasted with the material body
Spirit is simply an abstract notion pertaining to the aliveness of the body

    > the consciousness or personality
The spirit is an abstract way of looking at the active principle that characterizes a human being.

    > It is understood as surviving the bodily death in religion and occultism
This notion may best be classed as a conjecture because it has no objective proof.

    > a manifestation of the spirit of a deceased person (ghost)
Such experiences are subjective that may have some external stimulus; that is simply interpreted as such.

    > any incorporeal or immaterial being, such as demons or deities
Again such experiences are subjective and a matter of belief

    > the Holy Spirit experienced by the disciples at Pentecost.
This is an interpretation of an individual subjective experience

I now have a Tab on Excel Worksheet for SPIRIT as the subject.

I have one definition of thetan, spirit, soul, etc. per row.

I shall be rearranging these defintions from most mindful to those containing most additives, speculations and assumptions.

So far I find the following definition to be most mindful:

    > The English word spirit comes from Latin spiritus “breath”

“Breath” represents the aliveness of the body, so spirit is the aliveness of the body.

To me physical and spiritual are complementary. They are NOT independent of each other.

So a live body cannot exist without spirit. And a spirit cannot exist without a live body.

You may say it is tautological.

I am looking at Incorporeality from Wikipedia as the property of thetan or spirit.

    > without a physical body, presence or form

The earliest ideas of incorporeal came from thin matter, such as air; and from energy, such as fire. The only things without a physical body are patterns among physical bodies. These are abstractions in the abstract dimension.

The correct significance of idols in Christianity should be “fixed ideas”.

The abhorrence it idols in worship should actually be abhorrence to fixed ideas in one’s appreciation of life..
