Clearing a Subject (old)

Please see Clearing Subjects.

Once the subject titles are cleared, one is in a better position to answer the question:

“Which subject should I clear in full as a priority?”

To answer this question, we make a list newly of all the subjects we would like to clear fully as a priority. We arrange these subjects in the order we would like to clear them. We then focus on the subject at the top of the list.

.

Oneness

The purpose of subject clearing  is to understand the subject as one whole entity. This wholeness or oneness implies that there is continuity, consistency and harmony among all concepts in that subject.

As this oneness is violated we have anomalies, such as, discontinuity (missing data), inconsistency (contradictory data), and disharmony (arbitrary data). Such anomalies are revealed when the key concepts of a subject are arranged on the gradient from broad to narrow starting from the purpose of the subject. This happens especially when we look at the concepts closely and contemplate on how they can be stated precisely and concisely. We see such anomalies in the subject of physics in which the concepts, such as, space, inertia and gravity are not quite clear and the key theories are yet to be unified.

As the definitions of the key words are studied closely and stated concisely with precision in the systematic manner of subject clearing, the anomalies start to resolve and people gradually become free from their doubts, anxieties, and misunderstandings relating to that subject.

.

Exercise 3: Clearing the Subject

Pick up the subject that you would like to clear the most. Make sure that you have already cleared the title of this subject. To clear the subject of misconceptions, we make a list of all the basic concepts special to that subject.

We write down the key words that represent those concepts. We look up these key words to understand their meanings. We arrange the key words on a list, such that the most fundamental, and broadest, concept appears at the top, followed by concepts that are gradually narrowing in their meaning, and becoming more specific.

We don’t have to complete this list right away. We start clearing the key words starting from the top. More concepts and new key words shall start coming into view as we proceed. We add new key words to the list in the appropriate logical sequence.

To clear a key word, we look up its root meaning and definition. We then use the AI to understand the underlying concept better. As we work through the sequence of key words from broad to narrow, we shall notice concepts that are missing, contradictory, overlapping, or arbitrary.

We research into the missing concepts. We may find these concepts not to be fully developed. It may require further research to develop them fully. Sometimes it may lead to a brand new research. We then add these concepts to the sequential list of the key words at the right location. Many realizations may come about during this process.

When we find contradictions between two adjacent concepts on the list, we work to establish a proper gradient between them. This may require looking closely at their definitions, updating and aligning them. Many realizations may come about as a result.

When the adjacent concepts overlap, we may find parts that are redundant. Sometimes, when the gradient between the two concepts appears forced or inappropriate, we examine the definitions for unverified arbitrary ideas. We then we get rid of such ideas. This may simplify the subject considerably and make it more streamlined.

We may, thus, develop comprehensive definitions for the key words. These definitions are then added to the alphabetical subject glossary. This will ultimately give us a comprehensive glossary that contains concise and precise definitions for that subject.

At first, the focus should be on working out the fundamentals of that subject, until you have defined the postulates that established the subject in the first place. Then come forward looking at subsequent concepts making sure that there is continuity, consistency and harmony among them. Do this until your attention is no longer getting stuck on that subject, and is free to consider other subjects.

.

Summary

The approach of Subject Clearing has resulted in this Book of Mathematics, that focuses on the fundamentals of the subject. Once the fundamentals of mathematics are cleared, a person can continue with the learning of higher mathematics very easily on a self-learning basis.

Subject Clearing is also being used to clarify the fundamentals of physics in The Book of Physics. This is a work in progress.

Subject Clearing is also responsible for the development of the new subject of Postulate Mechanics, which primarily deals with the fundamental concepts underlying the universe.

Where subject clearing is concerned, even the sky is not a limit.

The L Processes

Reference: Course on Subject Clearing

The Ls are intended to handle out-valence and evil purpose cases. We are handling main areas of resistiveness that are stopping the person from expanding.

On L10 we handle the main valences that make him restrain his havingness. On L11 we handle evil purposes that keep him from acting. On L12 we stabilize his certainty of being himself.

The 3 Ls roughly divide into Have (L10), Do (L11), and Be (L12). The main targets are past identities and evil purposes. It gradually makes the person realize who he really is and thereby free him from past identities. The Ls are tailored to the individual.

Understanding Subjects

Reference: The Book of Subject Clearing

Life is a huge subject that needs to be cleared of all its troubles. Of course, that is the ultimate target of Subject Clearing. That target needs to be approached on a gradient.

.

Definitions

Definition of SUBJECT:
A subject can be a person or a thing that is being discussed, described, or dealt with. A subject can also be a branch of knowledge studied or taught in a school, college, or university.

Definition of CLEARING:
To clear is to become free from doubt, anxiety, misunderstanding, etc.

Definition of SUBJECT CLEARING:
Subject clearing is the process of removing doubt, anxiety, misunderstanding, or misconceptions in a subject, such that it is no longer demanding your attention.

.

Exercise 1: Understand Subjects

We may divide all subjects into the following categories:

(1) Subjects you learned as part of growing up
Here you are learning to sense and express yourself. So the basic subjects are Observation and Talking. Later you learn to Read and Write. You also learn about right and wrong. These are the subjects of Ethics and Discipline. There are the curiosities, desires, satisfactions and disappointments of childhood. We may call that the subjects of General Knowledge and Experience.

(2) Subjects you learned in school
Here formal learning starts in Language and Arithmetic. You learn to express your thoughts and ideas with clarity. You also learn subjects like History, Geography, Geometry, Algebra and Science. There are optional subjects like Arts, Music, Dancing, Theater, etc.

(3) Subjects you learned in college
Here the learning becomes more advanced. You may learn science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Higher mathematics. Alternatively, you may learn social subjects like Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, etc.

(4) Subjects you learned for a profession
In this category are subjects, such as, Engineering, Medicine, Business, Law, Politics, Psychology, etc. There are also vocational subjects that teach the skills to become an Electrician, Plumber, Air Conditioning, Construction, etc.

(5) Subjects you learned in life
These are the subject that you deal with in life, such as, Finances, Health, Relationships, Spirituality, etc.

The Vortex Model

Reference: Postulate Mechanics

The increase in consistency from thought to energy to matter, can be seen as condensation of the substance, and a decrease in its fluidity or intrinsic motion. This phenomenon may be represented by a Vortex Model.

.

Definition of VORTEX MODEL

Thought, energy and matter may be visualized as forming the outer, middle and central part, respectively, of a giant rotating vortex. From this Vortex Model we may conclude that matter at the center would have a speed of near zero. The path of electromagnetic energy would have a very large radius, resulting in a linear speed that of light. The path of thought would have a still larger radius and its linear speed shall be still greater in proportion.

As one moves toward the center of this rotating Vortex, one is approaching the concept of a point particle of infinitesimal dimensions and infinite consistency. This particle shall have rotational motion only. This is approximated by a proton in a hydrogen atom.

Only when one moves away from the center of this rotating Vortex, that a location undergoes a displacement and has a linear velocity. The path of such a location has the curvature of a circle. A particle filling this location shall have less than infinite mass. This is approximated by an electron in a hydrogen atom.

When the distance from the center of this rotating Vortex is extremely large, the curvature of the path becomes so small that it appears to be a straight line. The substance filling this location shall have no mass, extremely low consistency, and extremely large linear velocity. This is approximated by light.

A similar extrapolation may be made for thought, which will have still lower consistency and higher liner velocity.

.

Notes

The most striking observation about intrinsic motion is its inverse relationship with the consistency of substance. This relationship is observable only when we look at the spectrum of substance from thought to energy to matter. It is not observable when we simply focus on matter. This is because visible motion of matter corresponds to a negligible change in mass. This change in mass with motion is so small that it is ignored in the Newtonian mechanics. Only when the difference in their masses is not too large that the representation of objects as point particles correctly predicts relative motion in Newtonian mechanics.

For this reason, the representation of both proton and electron as point particles in a Hydrogen atom does become a problem, because the difference between their masses is relatively very large. The Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle was conceived to resolve this problem.

Similarly, the representation of both Mercury and Sun as point particles also became a problem, because the difference between their masses is relatively very large. Thus, Newtonian mechanics produces incorrect results. Einstein’s theory of general relativity was conceived to resolve this problem.

According to this Vortex model, the intrinsic motion of substance increases as its consistency decreases from matter to energy to thought. To get accurate answers for relative motions the inverse relationship between consistency (mass) and motion must be taken into account. A hypothesis may be advanced that the product of the consistency and motion is a universal constant.

.

Key Misconception

A key misconception in Physics is that motion and consistency (mass) of substance are not related to each other, and that there is no absolute scale to measure motion.

The Intrinsic Motion (old)

Please See: The Motion

If there is only one object in the universe, we cannot talk about its relative motion, but we can still talk about its intrinsic motion. The intrinsic motion of an object would be a property just like consistency.

.

Definition of INTRINSIC MOTION

In a solid object, the internal structure is pretty fixed. We may say that the intrinsic motion of a solid object is zero because its center of mass is fixed within that structure. But in a fluid object, the internal structure is not so fixed, and its center of mass may shift around a bit. So, it has some intrinsic motion. We may say that the intrinsic motion of a substance is related to the fluidity of its internal structure.

As the consistency of substance decreases, the substance expands and becomes more fluid. This can be seen in an atom, where the electronic region is much more fluid compared to the nuclear region because the consistency of the electronic region is much less compared to the nuclear region. The increased fluidity of the electronic region translates into greater intrinsic motion.

A black hole at the center of a galaxy has extremely large mass, and it is not fluid at all; whereas, light has literally no mass, and it is completely fluid. Therefore, the speed of the black hole is practically zero compared to the speed of light, which is 3 x 108 meters / second.

In the material region itself, we see stars in a galaxy revolving around the black hole at its center; and the planets in a star system revolving around its central star. This is because stars have lesser mass than the central black hole; and the planets have lesser mass than their central star.

There are many influences on the motion of a free body; but a general conclusion may be drawn that the lesser is the mass, the greater is the natural speed of a singlefree body due to greater intrinsic motion. This may not be so for the many rocks in the ring of Mars; but it would so for an isolated comet traveling in the heavens.

On a large scale, there appears to be an inverse relationship between the consistency of substance and its intrinsic motion or fluidity. The higher is the consistency of substance, the slower is its intrinsic motion.

.

Notes

In physics, one generally considers the motion of a point particle to simplify mathematics. A point particle is derived from the idea of the center of mass of a solid object. Therefore, inherent to the use of a point particle is the assumption that the motion is being applied to a solid object. For a point particle, the intrinsic motion would be zero and the consistency would be infinite.

The problem with the Bohr’s model of atom immediately becomes obvious when both the nucleons and the electrons are treated as point particles, while they are vastly different in their consistency and intrinsic motion. This anomaly gave rise to the Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle. The probability function is trying to address the phenomenon of intrinsic motion.

As the consistency of an object approaches infinity, its intrinsic motion approaches zero. This would be the state of absolute rest. A black hole at the center of a galaxy would closely approximate the state of absolute rest.

The definition of motion as the “change of position in space” applies to solid objects and point particles only. It is a matter-centric concept.

.

Key Misconception

A key misconception is that the relative motion describes the actual motion of substance. It is obvious that the motion of Earth is not measured by its speed relative to light, or to the Sun. The actual motion is described by the intrinsic motion of substance.
