Definition
A postulate is a foundational assumption taken as true, from which everything else is derived.
Abbreviation: PS = Postulate
Postulates
PS 16: Substance may be divided into thought, energy and matter.
- Substance is anything substantial enough to be sensed.
PS 17: The substantially of substance is denoted by its inertia.
- Inertia of matter is seen as mass.
- Inertia of Energy (light) is seen as momentum.
- Inertia of thought is seen as identification.
PS 18: The inertia increases from thought to energy to matter.
- Thought-energy-matter provide a spectrum of substance.
PS 19: The characteristic of motion decreases as inertia increases.
- Motion denotes the rate of relative change of substance.
- Zero motion shall correspond to infinite inertia.
- Infinite motion shall correspond to zero inertia.
PS 20: Absolute rest may correspond to infinite inertia.
- Newton could not conceive of absolute rest.
- Absolute rest may be approximated by the center of a galaxy.
- Black holes of extreme density are postulated at the center of galaxies.
PS 21: Infinite rate of change may correspond to no inertia.
- Speed of light is nearly infinite with no mass.
- Unidentified thought will be impossible to grasp.
- Thought vanishes when there is complete harmony.
PS 22: Change in inertia is matched exactly by change in motion.
- All motion in the body corresponds precisely to shifts in thought.
PS 23: Space describes the extents of substance.
- Any space is completely filled by matter, energy and/or thought.
- There is no such thing as a complete void.
- There is no space in the absence of substance.
PS 24: Time describes the duration of substance.
- Presence of time means changing substance.
- There is no eternal substance, such as, soul.
- There is no time in the absence of substance.
PS 25: Space and time are properties of substance.
- Space and time are not independent of substance.
- Without substance there is neither space nor time.
PS 26: Empty space is space empty of matter only.
- There is always invisible energy or thought in space.
- When moving in space matter is moving through energy and thought.
PS 27: Eternity is for a dynamic universe only.
- Substance is always changing, but universe as a system remains.
- Life is part of the dynamic universe.
- Humans are also part of the dynamic universe.
PS 28: The dynamic universe is defined by its oneness.
- All elements of the universe exist in harmony with each other.
- All chaos is external to the universe.
PS 29: The oneness of the universe is described by harmony, consistency and continuity.
- Harmony may be observed on a cosmic scale.
- Consistency may be observed on the human scale.
- Continuity may be observed on the atomic scale.
PS 30: The universe is converting chaos into order.
- The universe evolves as it converts chaos into order.
- Humans form the vanguard of this evolution.
- The evolution takes place by means of postulates.
