Early Dec.’63, Winnipeg, Canada, just after turning 20, and still deeply troubled and saddened by JFK, I first heard this song and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, the first Beatles songs I’d ever heard, and I felt like living again.

Beatles were brilliant. They were part of my teen-age life in India as well.

I lived in a rural area and my friends like country music. I was the odd man out liking rock and roll but most especially The Beatles.
